    In it's forth weekend, "Private Parts" grossed $2.4 million making it the #10 movie with a gross to date of $38.2 Million.
  • Recent - 3/29
    In it's third weekend, "Private Parts" grossed $4.4 million making it the #5 movie with a gross to date of $34.4 Million.
  • Recent - 3/22
    In it's second weekend, "Private Parts" grossed another $8.7 million making it the #3 movie, behind "Jungle2 Jungle" ($10.9 Million) and "Return Of The Jedi: Special Edition" ($16.3 million).

  • The total reported gross as of last weekend was $27.6 million, keeping it America's #1 comedy.

  • Still on 2,138 movie screens, the per screen $ average of "Private Parts" was $4,708, making it #4.

  • RECENT! - 3/17
    In it's opening weekend, which was March 7-9, "PP" grossed $14.6 million on 2138 screens nationwide.

  • The per screen average was $6,836 nationally with a New York City average of $20,627 per screen and $15,875 in Los Angeles.

  • According to Howard, the movie was grossing about $1 million per day during the week, bringing the gross to date (Fri 3/14) around $20 million.


  • Cinemascope's national survey of movie-goers gave "Private Parts" an "A".

  • All six of Entertainment Weekly's scoring critics in "Critical Mass" gave the movie a "B", with Gene Siskel and Jami Bernard giving it a "B+".

    This week, the CD got bumped to #32 on Billboard's Top 200 Pop Album chart.
  • Recent - 3/29
    "Hard Charger", the first single off of the album is up to the20th spot on the top 50 Modern Rock chart in Friday Morning Quarter Back.
  • This week, the CD got bumped to #20 on Billboard's Top 200 Pop Album chart. The release of "Space Jam" on videotape helped give that soundtrack a second wind as it moved from #6 to #2.
  • Recent - 3/22
    This week, the CD got bumped down to #14 on the Pop Album chart. U2's new album was still going strong and the reemergence into the top 10 by the soundtrack to "Space Jam" which shot up from #14 to #6.

  • "Hard Charger", the first single off of the album is up one notch at the 21st spot on the top 50 Alternative chart in Radio & Records.

  • "Pictures Of Matchstick Men" the second single off of "PP" by Ozzy Osbourne and Type O Negative, debuted at #77 on FMQB's Top 100 Trax.
  • Recent - 3/17
    The album premiered at the #1 position on Billboard's Top 200 sales chart selling over 177,000 copies.

  • It was #1 in Pop album sales as well as the fastest selling soundtrack ever beating out "Waiting to Exhale".

  • There are 4 different CD covers on sale and 1 cover available through promotional channels. The most common cover is the movie poster, with the other 3 in limited distribution of up to 133,000 copies each.

  • This week, the CD got bumped up to #11 on the Pop Album chart partly due to the release of U2's new album.
