Chris Darden Does Stern Show!
With loads of pomp and circumstance, ex-OJ Simpson prosecutor,
Christopher Darden stopped by to promote his number one best-selling book,
"In Contempt". "I admired your
work on the OJ Simpson trial...," Howard said as Darden
sat down. During his 40 minutes with Howard and Robin, Darden revealed
his feelings on the following topics:
Marcia Clark...
When asked about Marcia's new hair style and make-over, Darden
said he had seen her new hairdo before the courtroom premiere and that
he liked her old "curly" hair style. "I
always thought Marcia was attractive," he admitted. When
asked if she had recently had breast implants, Darden said he didn't believe
so, adding, "How would I know?"
Howard claimed that he saw an advance copy of Marcia's yet-to-be-published
book and that she's allegedly going to reveal their torrid romance. "If Marcia doesn't write passionate things about
me in her book, it won't be worth squat," Darden said coyly
implying there was something between the two.
The OJ Simpson Trial...
On the topic of OJ Simpson's friend and Instant-lawyer, Robert Cardashian,
Darden showed real contempt when he referred to him as "Skunk Man"
because of his stripped hair and white stripped socks. Darden's disdain
stems from the theory that Cardashian had taken OJ's black travel bag with
all of the evidence and got rid of it. Since Cardashian claimed he was
one of OJ's lawyer, he was unable to be put on the stand and asked questions
about the bag and it's contents. "Maybe it swims with the fishes,
I just don't know," Darden mused about the whereabouts of the real
bag.
His Book...
According to Judith Regan, "In Contempt" was the number one best-seller
on all the major lists this week including the NY Times. Judith is not
only the editor of Chris' book, but has also worked with Howard and Robin
on their latest publishing ventures.
Robin Quivers...
During the interview, Howard told Darden about Robin's anal encounter where
she was bent over a sink by her lover and taken anally. "This
is in her book? I got to get that book," Darden asked curiously.
As for the possibility of a another date with Robin, Darden said, "I'll give Robin a second chance. I'll be in NY for
a couple of days." "Would you go on a second date with Chris?"
Howard asked Robin. "I would if I were asked,"
she replied. "Are you attracted to Mr. Darden,"
Howard continued. "I plead the
5th," Robin joked. When Howard pushed the issue of the
date, Robin wondered like a 5th grader, "Is
he asking?" "Yes," Darden replied. "Then
I guess we are!," she gushed.
"First Date" Background.
If you will recall, Robin and Chris Darden's relationship started when
Robin got a phone call from Judith Regan, telling her that Darden was in
town and that she could hook up with him if she so desired. Darden then
called Robin at home to set the date. After a brief conversation, they
agreed to have dinner at San Dominico, a posh New York City Italian restaurant.
When the big day arrived, Robin picked up Darden at his mid-town Manhattan
hotel and the two set out on their evening adventure of Fish dinners and
intellectual conversation. Robin claimed that nothing happened on the date,
which Darden verified during the interview.
