Adios El Paso!
Thursday, November 8, was the Stern show's last day on the radio in
El Paso, TX., on KROD 600 AM. According to a recorded announcement being
played on the station, KROD is no longer broadcasting the Stern show because
the radio station has been unsuccessful in negotiations concerning the
renewal of the contract with the Stern show. The announcement added that
the station is conducting research for another morning show for the area.
Howard had decent ratings in El Paso, so hopefully his show will pick
up another affilliate for all of his fans in El Paso who are now Stern-less.
