Eccentric Eric Norris?
Prompted by a phone caller who wanted
to know everyone's middle name, it was revealed today that Fred Norris
has legally changed his first name. According to Fred himself, about two
years ago, he legally changed his first name to Eric. When asked why, Fred,
now Eric, joked that he liked the name Eric because it looked good on his
credit cards.
Truth be told, Fred's mother wanted to name him Eric first, but decided
against it because her old boyfriend's name was Eric and Fred's biological
father didn't like it. When Fred, I mean Eric, found this out, he decided
to change it to Eric because he liked that name better. According to Fred,
he was named after his Grandfather and later in life took the Norris last
name after his adoptive father. Even though he totally disliked the name
Fred, he kept it as his middle name and dropped his legal middle name of
Leo completely.
