Mayor Janks Declares O'Donnell Day!
Captain Janks was up to some good old hi-jinx this year when he scammed
butch TV talk show hostess, Rose O'Donnell, by claiming he was Mayor Ed
Rendell of Philadelphia.
In an exclusive interview,
Captain Janks, seen here with his good friend, Mickey Dolenz, told me about
the set-up and execution of his newest call, which has caused quite a stir
in and around Philadelphia.
"I was sitting in a bar last night and
someone said that I should get Rosie O'Donnell because she's now on in
Philly. So I called up the show today and said I was some guy named Kevin
Siegel from the Mayor's office and that the Mayor wanted to proclaim it
"Rosie O'Donnell Day" in the city of brotherly love. I spoke
with a woman named Beth Boreanaz, who was the Production Coordinator, and
told her that I would read the proclamation and then the "Mayor"
would come on the phone. She told me they didn't enough time for all that
since the call came as surprise, so she asked just for the Mayor."
According to Janks, at 10:09 AM, as Rosie thought she was going to
be getting a proclamation in her honor, he unleashed his trademarked assholerie
live on national TV.
"This is Mayor Rendell. Howard Stern
says you're a fat pig, do you know that?... "
