It's A Wrap!
August 16, was the last day of principal photography for Howard's movie,
"Private Parts", leaving only second unit shooting and the editing
process between it's early March 1996 release. The rigorous shooting schedule
took the better part of ninety full days of shooting in Silvercup studios
and on location all over New York City.
To celebrate the end of shooting, a wrap party was held back in August
in which a lot of steam was let out. Danny Goldberg and Len Blum, the producer
and screenplay writer of "Private Parts" were ejected from the
party. Stern show office manager, Kathy Tobin, vomited on herself and then
passing out in a back room, only to wake up when the club was closed. She
had to trigger the alarm to get out of the venue. Kathy said on the air
that she had only a few puffs off a joint early in the night and only 3
to 4 drinks, and that she felt like she had been drugged. Howard was said
to be shit faced from booze and admitted to going outside to sit in a parked
limo (my guess is he was smokin' a dobbie with Ralph).
